お久しぶりです。英語には慣れてだいぶ会話できるようになってきました。　最初は何時間勉強しても理解出来なかった化学の授業も今ではかなり理解できるようになりました。大勢の友達の中でも会話に参加できるようになりました。日々自分の英語力が向上しているのを感じます。

だいぶ経ちましたが、イースターの写真です。おばさんの家に親戚が集合して、みんなで卵を染めたり、エッグハンティングをしました。エッグハンティングはプラスティックで出来た卵が広い庭にたくさん隠されていて、なかにはチョコレートやおもちゃの車などが入っていました。イースター当日は朝起きると、クリスマスのように、イースターバニーからのプレゼントが用意されていました。クリスマスと違うのは、プレゼントが枕元や靴下に入っているのではなく、家のどこかに隠されていることです。ホストブラザーたちは新しいwiiのゲームやDVDをもらってとても喜んでいました。

ストランで撮ったものです。ボーリングにホストマザーの友達と、映画に親戚みんなで行きました。ボーリングは普通のものとは違って、暗い中で蛍光塗料の縫ってある穴の開いていない小さいボールを投げるという変わったものでした。

最後の写真は近所の女の子がうちに来て、ティーパーティーをしたものです。スイカの形の小さなティーセットを使って、お姫様の格好をしてお茶をのみました。

最近は学校も英語も慣れてきたせいか、最初の３カ月とは違って時間の流れがゆっくりになって来ました。先週末はマニトバに行ってきました。ひいひいおばあちゃんを訪ねるためにいったので、観光などはできませんでしたが、yorklakeという湖でしたキャンプファイアーはとても楽しかったです。

 I would like to describe my Canadian family life. My host family's life has huge differences from my Japanese family's life. I will tell you about two parts of their life.

   First, Canadians have different eating habits. They don't cook as long as we do in Japan. There are many kinds of food that can be cooked quickly, such as macaroni, noodles, and perogies, etc. They need to be boiled for about ten minutes, and can be served with vegetables and cheese sauce or hamburgers. What I am especially surprised about is that my host family eats ''wild meat''. For example, they eat deer, moose, elk, bear and antelope. The hamburgers they eat are moose and elk, because they are hunters.

   There are some mounted animals and furs in the house. I have tried deer, moose, and elk. They compare to beef, but they don't have as much fat as beef has, so they are healthier than beef. Also, wild meat tastes spicy. I don't need spices when I usually cook. I could eat moose and elk, I can't eat any parts of deer though. It has a unique smell and taste. It makes me sick!

   Second, I would like to explain about Canadian houses. My host family's house is a huge new log house. Log houses are not popular in Japan, but they are loved by many people in Canada. Even I found the log house magazines and the TV shows.

   Most Canadians have basements in their houses, therefore, if the houses look small, but their insides are still large. Also, the people living around my host's house, have a huge amount of land. They are farmers. Everyday riding the bus is like taking a Japanese school excursion. I can see many animals as I ride the bus, like cows, horses, geese.

   In conclusion, Canadian country life style has some big differences from my Japanese city life style. Canadian life is full of beautiful nature, and people live with nature for life, for fun.
